On this 10-day trip you will have the opportunity to explore the stunning southwest coast of Portugal. This is a particularly unexploited coastal area, where you will feel in sync with nature and away from mass tourism. Beautiful trekking paths will give you access to beaches and natural spots that are only reachable by feet. Other highlights are fresh fish and sea food, the laidback surfing atmosphere and the astonishing sunsets.
The price includes a detailed itinerary with all the best spots to visit, including almost secret beaches, trekking paths, recommended restaurants, etc. We will make sure you won´t miss a thing.
According to your taste, you can take this as a trekking / biking / birdwatching trip, or call it a relaxing vacation and enjoy the peaceful nature and great food.

Day 1 & 2 | Arrival in Faro
Check in at hotel in Eva Hotel (4 stars) – 2 nights
Day 3, 4 & 5 | Travel from Faro to Aljezur
Check in at Enigma Hotel (4 stars) – 3 nights
From Enigma Hotel (Aljezur) you can:
- Take a daytrip to Lagos and Sagres: very interesting cities historically, with beautiful beaches and quite interesting city life. Sagres’ southwesternmost tip of Europe offers a very beautiful view near its picturesque lighthouse.
- Visit the beautiful mountain – Serra de Monchique.
- Enjoy nature by walking, trekking, biking, or simply enjoying a beautiful view while eating a delicious fresh fish or seafood meal.
Day 6, 7, 8 & 9|Travel from Aljezur to Vila Nova de Milfontes
Check in at Monte do Zambujeiro – 4 nights
From Monte do Zambujeiro (Vila Nova de Milfontes) you can:
- Take daytrips to Porto Côvo, Sines, Santo André, Santiago do Cacém. All interesting for their landscape and history.
- In Vila Nova de Milfontes, you can explore the little village and the cosy restaurants and cafes. You can also enjoy the beautiful white sand beaches.
- At Monte do Zambujeiro, you have the opportunity to book several activities, which will introduce you to the local landscape and tradition in your preferred way: boat tours, horse riding, wine tasting, diving, snorkelling, custom picnics, local culture workshops (ex. Breadmaking).
Day 10 | Trip back to Faro
Included in the price:
- 9 nights accommodation in 4-star (Aljezur and Vila Nova de Milfontes). Hotels may change due to availability but we guarantee the same quality or upgrade. The same program can be provided with 3-star accommodation upon your request.
